This book tells the tale of Tucker, one of the Hope Springs Gang who along with his buddy, Buster from next door goes on a most excellent adventure down the creek and makes lots of new friends along the way. Hope Springs Eternal is a small breed dog rescue situated in the picturesque Adelaide Hills. They help find new homes and families for small dogs in need. It is run by a husband and wife team, Chris and Ray Moore with the assistance of a small group of dedicated Foster Carers with very big hearts.

My children loved this one, especially the 4 year old - really captured the imagination and sparked some interesting conversations about dreams!! A fun, easy to follow and well illustrated book, highly recommended! The Hope Springs Eternal series are great wholesome, funny stories for little ones. They also provide a nice opportunity to talk to kids about the importance of kindness and the people out there who take care of animals and people when others can't. I'd recommend for ages 2/3 and up. This was our favourite of the series so far. Jaida has really captured the essence of the characters and the story with her beautifully crafted and detailed illustrations. Oh to live a life half as exciting as these dogs do (or imagine they do)!
