Katie is a Vancouver-based elementary school teacher and author. She loves reading and writing books for children. Katie has been engaging and teaching with children's literature resources for over 15 years and has a lot of experience with what appeals to kids and teachers. Creating a cross-curricular resource that was applicable to today's issues and in-class needs, that also makes math relevant and fun, was the driving force behind Katie's work. JJ is a Vancouver-based artist and illustrator. She loves drawing and painting outdoor in the nature. Her work is full of rich characters and story telling details.
