Overview

The Camino de Santiago, also known as the Way of St. James, is a network of pilgrimages leading to the shrine of the apostle Saint James the Great in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. This ancient pilgrimage route truly welcomes everyone, regardless of age, background, gender, ethnicity, religion, or physical ability. This book is intended to welcome an important group that is often overlooked, our children. Intended to be read to the children by their loving adults, this book is at a reading level appropriate for a second-year reader. Included in each story at the end is a vocabulary list of new words with definitions. For all the children who will one day walk a pilgrimage, Buen Camino.
