Rob Whaley was born in Martinsville, Indiana, and now resides in South Eastern Michigan. He is a US Navy Submarine Veteran and alma mater of Purdue University and North Central College. In addition to writing, Rob is an avid mountain bike and gravel bike rider and competes in many of Michigan's famous mountain bike and gravel bike races, such as The Iceman Commeth Challenge, Marji Gesick, Barry Roubaix and Mud, Sweat and Beers.
