"Zezhou Sun, Doctoral supervisor, is a professor in deep space exploration at the Beijing Institute of Spacecraft System Engineering of the China Academy of Space Technology, the chief designer of Chang'e-4 and the Mars probes. He is mainly engaged in deep space exploration project demonstration, spacecraft overall design and other research work. He once presided over the project of ""Chang'e-4"" and successfully completed the first lunar soft landing and roving exploration  by a man-made probe. He is now in charge of the Mars exploration mission to be implemented in 2020 opportunity. He has won many awards, such as the special prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the National Defense Science and Technology Award. More than 20 core journal papers have been published."
