Isabella lives off the grid in Northern California with her husband, Steve, their Blue Great Danes, Rey and Reina, and their Jack Russell, Poppy. Her two sons and two daughters plus five grandchildren and numerous foster children are all far-flung in various states. Thankfully, they are a tight-knit family and have regular reunions. Isabella has been writing since grade school, but this is her first published book. She had a modicum of fame as a teenager because of her peculiar propensity for speaking in malaprops. If she's ever seen a fairy, she would never let you know.
