Author Information

Jeffrey D. Holst holds a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Business Administration from Grand Valley State University and a Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University. Holst graduated early from law school, and with honors. While he was there he earned the jurisprudence award in individual income taxation. He was also selected as the graduating class speaker. As an attorney in the West Michigan area, Holst filed hundreds of bankruptcies, counseling individuals, families, and business owners about the process and about whether bankruptcy was the right choice for them. He currently lives in Chattanooga Tennessee with his wife, Becky. Holst is licensed in all Michigan State courts in the federal courts for the Western District of Michigan including the Western District of Michigan Federal Bankruptcy Court and he is also licensed in his new home state of Tennessee.
