He is President of China Cognitive Translation Society, and the vice president of China Cognitive Linguistics Association, and China Pragmatics Association. He is the co-editor of The Routledge Handbook of Cognitive Linguistics, and the editor of the book series “Bloomsbury Studies in Language and Cognition”, and “Frontier in China Cognitive Linguistics”. His major research interests include cognitive linguistics, semantics, pragmatics, cultural linguistics, anthropological linguistics, etc. Ruiliang Tang is an Associate Professor, currently serving as the Chair of the Department of English Education at the College of International Studies, Southwest University.
