He worked for ten years as an archaeologist in Israel, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and various places in the United States before enrolling in the University of Missouri's School of Journalism, where he earned a second Master's degree. Now a full-time writer, his work has appeared in such publications as Missouri Life, Yoga Journal, and Ancient Egypt.
