OverviewA UFO primer for children and includes 10 different actual UFO/Flying saucer events over the last 75 years. The 10 stories are beautifully illustrated for a childrens reading audience. A few years ago I searched online for some good UFO books for my granddaughter. I could not locate something of actual historical accuracy geared for children and families. I made the decision to write my own book. I left out proper names out of respect for the individuals and their families. After a 40-year career in telecommunications, beginning with Illinois Bell as a telephone repairman, ending as a consultant I am now retired. My family and I have been involved in youth and community work for many years and I've had the opportunity to work with and mentor many young people. I'm also an avid UFO researcher and I love to share stories with young people about actual UFO events in our country. Our children and young people are watching movies and TV programs that boggle the mind. Space travel, alien races, time travel, etc., are just a sampling of what our young people are informed about. Governments around the world are opening their UFO files and the United States has started the process of disclosing some UFO files. I wrote this book as a UFO primer in hopes that who ever reads it is compelled to continue reading and researching on their own. And I wrote it because as entertaining as many of the science fiction movies are our children also deserve the truth and we honor them by providing them with knowledge.
