"""What a creative way to write a book! Edward the Egg is a perfect bedtime storybook as it includes many short tales that are perfect in length and imagination for a child before bed (or any other time they want!). I really liked how the author left pages open in each story for the child to draw and color a picture related to what they read. Most importantly, it taught a valuable lesson of how to try new things even if it seems difficult like how a breakable, small egg could learn to drive a four-wheeler! Another lesson that was taught was the need for help and how to help others. For instance, in each story, Edward cracks and is taped together by new friends. It shows both that we all need help and that we need to help others, even those we don't know. I would highly recommend this book for any young audience or parents looking for a great bedtime storybook!"" ""Julia Fagundus's Edward the Egg: Coloring Tales of Adventure is designed to get kids intrigued and curious about trying some new adventures for themselves. Each story shows Edward's enterprising spirit as he sets out to achieve his goals. He's not daunted by the fact that no egg has ever ridden a horse before or dived off the high board of a pool. And, fortunately, there's always someone who makes sure that Edward survives his adventures. I loved how the author ends her collection with the exhortation that each young reader can make a difference; they can be the ones who tape together others, with ""a smile, a kind word, a helping hand or a listening ear."" This interactive flash fiction storybook offers so much to young readers, from the art work to the quest for adventure to being the one who tapes up another. It's highly recommended."" ""The main character, Edward the Egg, is hard not to love. He has a zest for life that's infectious....teaching bravery and kindness with each story-which is a great lesson for young readers. This first book in the series is a great book to read at bedtime. Each story is only a two to three minute read (there are five in this book) and just a fun read for preschoolers and up. Also, an added bonus...the book doubles as a coloring book."" ""This is a versatile book that serves multiple purposes. It features stories about Edward the Egg and his exciting adventures, along with black-and-white illustrations. Additionally, it includes pages where children can draw their own versions of Edward the Egg. The book is perfect for young children, as it offers great bedtime stories and valuable teaching moments on important life lessons such as bravery and the power of kindness."""
