Jamie Anderson has worn out three pick-up trucks since 1987, and seen forty-seven of fifty states, immigrated to Canada and consumed countless cases of M&M's while bringing her brand of confused folk music to venues around the world. The award winning composer and musician taught herself guitar by memorizing chords in a Mel Bay song book and now she teaches guitar, mandolin, ukulele and songwriting in her studio and for schools--including Duke University. She has written a plethora of articles about women's music and musician profiles. Her favorite word is plethora. She lives in Ottawa.
