She is the author of Pre-service English Teacher Education: Classroom Education and Teaching Practice Booklet (2007), and co-author of Tests of Business English (2010) and Dictionary of Business Collocations: With Romanian Translation and Practice Section (2009). She has (co-)authored numerous articles in the field of ELT methodology, curriculum studies, corpus linguistics, lexical semantics and intercultural business communication. Dr Popescu is editor-in-chief of the academic journal The Journal of Linguistic and Intercultural Education - JoLIE.Associate Professor Rodica Pioariu (Head of the Modern Languages Department, University of Alba Iulia, Romania) teaches English Language and Cross-literary Studies. Her research spans the following major fields: the reception of American literature in Romania, Romanian-American cultural relations, narrative techniques in modern novels, British and American theatre, Romanian media and the national idea in Transylvania. She has authored several books and published numerous articles and translations.
