Malyuga is an Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and head of the Foreign Languages Department at the Economics Faculty of RUDN University (Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia). She is also a Professor with a D.Sc. in Linguistics and Editor of ""Training, Language and Culture"". Her scientific interests include functional pragmatics, sociolinguistics, applied linguistics, intercultural business communication, and profession-oriented education. She has authored over 300 publications, including course books, monographs, and research articles indexed by Web of Science and Scopus.
