Author Information

Arif Mahmud Kisana is a Stockholm based full - time medical researcher and a part - time journalist. He's been living in Sweden since 1995. He writes articles and blogs in various newspapers and journals. The topics range from Islamic History to Social Changes, from Science to the Philosophy of Iqbal. Arif Kisana has also been actively representing the Pakistani and Kashmiri community in Scandinavia for the last two decades and is a member of Foreign Press Association, Sweden. He is also the founder of Stockholm Study Center that meets every month to discuss solutions to social problems in the light of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Holly Prophet. Medical research is his profession, writing on social issues his hobby and the study of Iqbal his passion. His collection of articles and columns Afkaar - e - Taaza has already been published. A Collection of Delightful Stories for Children is his second publication. He is also planning to publish A Collection of Delightful Stories for Children II, soon. He's also working on Iqbal and Dag Hammarskjold (A comparative study?), Sada - e - Hurriyet ( Kashmir and Kashmir Movement), The Land of the Midnight Sun (Sweden and Northern Europe) and Awaz - e Arif (a collection of essays).
