A Celtic Kiwi Tapestry: A Memoir of Resilience and Hope

Overview

Sabrina was just four years old when she was abused by a man who had won her family's trust. It was many years before the suppressed memories of this horror, buried deep in her unconscious, surfaced in a traumatic way. Meanwhile, it worked in strange ways to affect her relationships and the choices she made, repeatedly threatening to throw her life off course. The story begins in Ireland where Sabrina grew up and finishes in New Zealand where she emigrated with the husband she met in London. It tells the author's journey from early trauma, through twists, turns and setbacks that made no sense at the time, to how she ultimately overcame hurdles to build a successful life. An uplifting story of resilience, strength, faith and success. For anyone whose early life journey has been clouded by sadness and tragedy, this book offers inspiration and hope.
