Reviews

-I like the quotes, the success interviews, the interactive homework and the journaling activities and exercises. The use of color pictures and cartoons reinforce main points and subject areas. Thanks for a GREAT textbook!- -I think [the Santrock/Halonen text] speaks to students on a mature level, even though it's covering the basics. Sometimes, the language in first year texts is... too simplistic, and students feel demeaned or demoralized by it. This book covers the topics in a way that's very matter-of-fact without making students feel stupid. I know my students would appreciate the tone and level of the book.- -This is a well-written text. The features at the end of each chapter are especially valuable and thought provoking. . . . This is a high-quality product and should be adopted by many schools!- -Very accurate, current, and comprehensive, and perhaps equally important, it's ACCESSIBLE!---Rebecca Cole, Northern Arizona University I think [the Santrock/Halonen text] speaks to students on a mature level, even though it's covering the basics.
