After founding the company in 1970, he served as its chief executive officer until turning the reins over to his son, H. Britt Landrum III, and retired from the company in 2017. Mr. Landrum has been active in several industry-related organizations, serving as a board member and officer of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) and Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC). He has served as president of the Florida Employment Association (FEA), National Personnel Associates (NPA), and TempNet, formerly Independent Temporary Services Association (ITSA). He was appointed by the Governor of Florida to serve as a member of the first Board of Employee Leasing Companies and served a term as chairman. Active in civic affairs, Landrum is a past member and chairman of the board of the Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
