Serena is a twenty-two-year-old aspiring writer from Ontario, Canada where she recently completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo. Serena is passionate about social justice, peacebuilding, music, and the arts. Ever since she wrote her first short story at the age of four, she has secretly dreamed of becoming a writer. Although the novel has always been her favourite writing medium, Serena began to try her hand at poetry in her university years while exploring songwriting.
