When schools report the academic successes and challenges of our posterity, they are often judged and labeled on their ability to produce a cadre of competent learned students. Reviewing several behavioral studies, led Hite-Carter (2012) to devise a cognitive neuroscience model, the 5th Element, for her previously designed (OEL) framework. Efforts to transform this model into an educational paradigm resulted in the creation of the Service Matrix. The Service Matrix is an operational process utilized to solve complex cognitive development concerns in students. W.I.S.E Schools is a Service Matrix Instructional System utilizing various computerized algorithms designed using the (OEL) to create scientific learning laboratories. Within every scientific learning laboratory, the Service Matrix produces a metaphorical process that functions primarily on the thinking patterns of each student.
