Reviews

Dr. Gil Stieglitz is the real deal. His faith, leadership and writings have never wavered over the fifteen years I've known him. I love the intentionality, wisdom, and practicality Gil brings to parenting in his book Wise Parenting. Every parent should read it to gain solid understanding and practical ways to guide their children. --Jay Stearley, Pastor and Missionary, Slingshot Consultant, former Executive Pastor, Author of Begin. I have known Gil for over 20 years as a leader, pastor, and loyal friend. Most of all, I have observed his priorities--God, family, and church. In his newest book Wise Parenting, he shares decades of being Dad. This book demonstrates his life-long quest to be a great parent, and will be an immense help for those on that same journey. --Conrad Lowe, Pastor, Denominational Leader, Executive Coach, and Mentor Dr. Gil's Wise Parenting book is truly full of practical family wisdom that will help you have a healthier family. Gil has tested out his theories with families for several decades. His gift at storytelling is invaluable in unpacking these valuable family principles. Your money will be well spent on this new family book. --Rev. Dr. Ed Hird, co-author of Blue Sky, a novel about family reconciliation. Gil and Dana Stieglitz are trusted guides in life. Their most recent book, Wise Parenting, provides a road map for your journey. If you are a new parent, devour it! If you are an experienced (and bruised!) parent, drink it in and receive healing and hope. I once wrote that we all need to be re-parented at some point in our lives. Whether you are a first time parent, an adult in need of re-parenting, or an experienced parent, this book gives you practical wisdom and timeless truth for your journey. --Dr. John Jackson, President of William Jessup University, Author & Speaker We may have missed a conversation with Solomon or what Christ shared on the Emmaus road, but we can glean from decades of research, parenting, and pastoring from my longtime friends Drs. Gil and Dana Stieglitz as they share key principles of successful parenting. This book, Wise Parenting, is filled with proven principles that read like an engaging informal conversation. Implementing these principles, which will require planning and work, will bring greater joy to your family. If for you there is no greater joy than to see your children mature into successful individuals, Wise Parenting is a rewarding read. --Dr. Ken Townsend, Head of Schools Grace Cascade Christian Schools, former ACSI NW Regional Director These materials made all the difference in our home. Thank you for introducing all the techniques, ideas, and plans. We needed almost all of them. --Wise Parenting class attendee I was at the end of my rope with my ten-year old, and then I talked with Dr. Gil about what to do. I tried what he suggested and it was like magic; she behaved and our relationship is on the mend. Thank you. --Wise Parenting mentee
