Brian Shircliff is the author/translator of The Naked Path of Prophet series of biblical translations and a graphic novel (illustrated by Sean K. Long) revealing the wildly sexy, clever poetry-rap that most Bible translations ignore or even cover over. Having taught high school religion for seventeen years, he felt the need to swim away from the shipwreck of organized religion for a more inclusive perspective. He is a Bones for Life(R) Trainer, Guild Certified Feldenkrais PractitionerCM, Healing Touch Certified Practitioner, and thirty-year student of many styles of meditation. He co-founded and continues to direct VITALITY Cincinnati's donation-based holistic self-care programs. Matthew Klooster is a published scholar, researcher, and college educator in the biological sciences and moonlights as an oil painter. Through the artistic styles of realism & abstract realism, he aims to authentically portray natural forms, while honoring the spiritual essence of his subjects. He carries a great reverence for all of life and enjoys sharing his art with those who seek a contemplative tool and pathway towards healing.
