Adaramola earned his BSc and MSc in mechanical engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and University of Ibadan, Nigeria, respectively. He received his PhD in environmental engineering at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada. He has worked as lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University and as a researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway.
