Since 1979 he has worked mainly for WWF-Malaysia on wildlife, forestry and conservation projects. He is co-author of A Field Guide to the Mammals of Borneo, as well as This is Borneo, published by New Holland. He is also the author of Orang-utans, to be published in 2008 (also NHP).
