Why do Catholics do that?! They sit; they kneel; and they stand. Many life-long Catholics do not know the answers. Becoming Catholic as an adult, there were still many questions left unanswered. It is not easy to find the answers either. However, we finally have those answers all in one spot. What do you tell your children or anyone else when they ask WHY? Now, we know. Author, Brenda Calabria, was born in and lives in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State with her husband. Brenda has taught 7th grade math for 20+ years. She decided to take RCIA classes in 2010 to learn more about the Catholic Church's doctrines. The class resulted in her wanting to become Catholic and being confirmed in April 2011. This book is a result of her journey through RCIA, her research and the teacher-in-her wanting to share that knowledge. The artist, Nathan Calabria, was an easy pick! Nathan is a cartoonist and, conveniently, Brenda's 20-something, autistic, stepson. Nathan is a thriving member of his upstate New York community. He had worked at a local tea café and attended the DRIVE program at Keuka College (a non-profit that serves people with disabilities) until the Pandemic hit.
