Author Information

Elissa Haden Guest is the author of the award-winning Iris and Walter series. In addition, she has written several Young Adult novels and television screenplays. Elissa lives with her family in San Francisco, CA. Marina Fedotova was born in Moscow City, Russia, where she is still living and working today as a professional illustrator. She describes her art as full of kindness and witty humor. Marina, who was classically trained as a watercolorist, loves adding minute details such as the knit on a woolen scarf or a fluttering butterfly overhead. She is inspired by the puppeteers who make their own dolls and perform locally to her. She, like them, loves to bring her creations to life.
