Tim Fredrick, PhD, is Senior Director of Education Programs at Youth Communication where he oversees social and emotional learning programs and professional development. He is a teacher and teacher educator with twenty years' experience working with students in kindergarten through graduate school. Gess LeBlanc, PhD, belongs to the Hunter College School of Education. He is the cofounder of Hunter's Urban Center for Assessment, Research, and Evaluation and cofounder of the college's MA Program in Educational Psychology. He is a sought-after speaker and writer on the subject of culturally responsive teaching. Leon Nixon is a professional actor, playwright, and filmmaker. A Los Angeles native, he has performed in short films, web series, and on stage in dramatic and comedic roles. He is an improvisor, trained in Los Angeles and Chicago, and is part of the group that appears in the Guinness Book of World Records for Longest Continuous Improv Show at 150 hours.
