In 1976, Francis Beaumont spirited eleven-year-old Kim Chown and her brother away from their mother to Africa, where he had taken a job as a university lecturer. Kim has been approached several times by other media outlets and ghostwriters to tell her story but only now does she feel able to speak out. Today Kim now runs a successful aesthetics business and is still sober. She wishes to tell her story to help other survivors of historic abuse come forward but also prove whatever you're up against justice can be done.
