Overview"In this picture book a small child wakes from a nap, goes downstairs and asks her Mommy a question. She's not happy with the answer, but she climbs up on a window seat and fiddles around with her blankie until something outside excites her. She runs to the door and it opens to reveal her big sister is home from school. There are no words which encourages interaction between the adult who presents the book and the child. The child can make up their own words to accompany the pictures. Carol was an elementary teacher and then worked for 25 years as an art therapist at mental health centers and as an art therapy intern supervisor at Ursuline college. She is also a commercial artist who created many of the original exhibits at the Cleveland Children's Museum including drawing the bridges of the Cleveland flats for the museum's Bridge Walk. She wrote and illustrated the children's book ""Message for Grandma"". Her work is available through BreckWorks on Etsy.com. She and her husband Mike live in Shaker Heights, Ohio and have 3 children and 8 grandchildren."
