Wisdom Mawusi is a writer, educator, activist, and the mother of three divine Black children. She resides in North Minneapolis and is the founder and executive director of Black, Bold & Brilliant, an empowering community organization for Black youth and families. Dr. Artika Tyner is a passionate educator, award-winning author, civil rights attorney, sought-after speaker, and advocate for justice. She lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and is the founder of the Planting People Growing Justice Leadership Institute. Reyhana Ismail is a designer and illustrator from the UK. She has designed a wide range of books and is particularly passionate about working with publishers that encourage a love of reading through representation and inclusion.
