OverviewThe primary function of well and reservoir surveillance is to ensure the asset is operated in an effective manner to optimize recovery and/or the asset's value. Waterflooding Surveillance and Remediation describes the various elements that could be included as components in a surveillance plan related to waterflood management. It subsequently looks at the options available to improve flood performance. There will inevitably be surveillance elements required that are not related to the waterflood. Those elements will not be discussed here, and the focus will be entirely on waterflood-related surveillance.
