He is internationally recognized in the field of microbial fermentation, bioprocess development, designing of reactor and biofuel research. He is an industrial biotechnology professional having more than 20 years of experience in interdisciplinary research and proven track record of bringing bench scale research to commercialisation. Dr. Mukherjee’s professional experience includes present day front-line research in microbial fermentation and scale-up of industrially important value added products. He has worked as Senior Scientist at Praj Industries Limited, Pune, at TERI-The Energy and Resources Institute, New Delhi and was a visiting Professor at Deakin University, Australia. His achievement is culminated in his 6 international patents and research publications published in reputed journals. His ability to work in interdisciplinary research area is evident from the fact that he worked both in research institute and industry.
