With vivid illustrations, a repeating text format, and many words addressing common childhood articulation errors, this book fills a need in children's literature. It offers several opportunities to practice target sounds and improve production. Speech/Language pathologists, teachers, parents, and children will find the book to be a helpful tool in mastering difficult to produce sounds. --Erin Roon, M.A. CCC-SLP, Horizons DRC Speech sound disorders can impact up to 25% of children through age seven. We know from what research says that using auditory stimulation or bombarding children with targeted speech sounds can help improve their speech production (Wolfe et al., 2003). Through this beautifully written book, Erin Ondersma has found a way to captivate children's attention and assist them with speech sounds that are frequently mispronounced. Enjoy reading this book with your child as you laugh and interact, knowing you are also providing a solid intervention for your child's speech development. --Megan Hojnacki, M.A., CCC-SLP/L, Speech-Language Pathologist Author InformationErin Ondersma lives in Grand Rapids, MI with her three children.
