It has been a long time since I've read a book that has had such a profound effect on me. I'm not sure I've ever read one that gave me chills, made me shout for the sheer joy of a totally unexpedted plot twist, and made me cry at the ending...All in one book. I was truly disappointed when there was no more book to read. It's going to be hard to find another book that compares. I fact, I loved it so much I bought a hard copy to share with family and friends. I found that all I wanted to do was finish what work I had to do so I could get back to it. It's well researched, descriptive without being overdone, the author at no point tries to humanize the animals, and I love how it incorporates Native American spirituality. What a perfect way to illustrate the circle of life. Mary F. Oct 1, 2016 wrote on Amazon; This book is amazing! If you want a book you can't put down, you must read this! It had me captivated from the first page to the last. With such picturesque narration I felt like I was taking each step with Tateh. While I laughed and cried, I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. This is a very real and honest portrayal of nature which left me reflecting on my own life and the endless circle we are all part of. This book is well written and will have you guessing at every turn! Debbie Lee Oct 20, 2016; This book portrays Tom's profound understanding of the natural world...It's beauty and brutality...It's peace and power. Thank you for the journey. Susan Jacoy Aug 8, 2015 wrote on Amazon; Never will I look at the wilderness the same way. Thought I had an appreciation for nature, but Walk with the Wind brought it to a new high. Very spiritual in the interconnection of all creatures (including human), plants, earth, sky and water. Shannon Gilbert Oct. 24, 2015 wrote on Amazon; Beautiful, amazing, and thoughtful. A page turner you won't put down. Makes one reflect on the natual world. Vivian Sumohano March 9,2016 wrote on Amazon; Loved it! Felt like a mind detox. Left me a feeling of hope in relation to our aggressive behavior in the way we relate to our Mother Earth and nature. Marelousmarv Sept 9, 2015 wrote on Amazon; One of the best books I have ever had the opportunity to read. Enthralling, captivating, edge of your seat type book. Highly recommend the experience. Stephanie Jones April 30,2016 wrote on Amazon; This was a beautiful story and I will be reading it again! It teaches us all to have hope and be thoughtful in life and to keep the people we love close. It opened my eyes to the beautiful world around me and showed me that we could learn from all of nature. Walt Long Dec 20, 2017 wrote on Amazon; This very unique book almost defies description. Mr. Savage has written in a personal, stream of consciousness style that often borders on poetry. I suspect that his personal style reflects his own feeling on oneness with nature, and that honesty comes through page after page, adventue after adventure .It's a beautifu, well-crafted story that really has no equal that I am aware of. Kudos for a very thoughtful journal! Author InformationTab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
