As I have read through this amazing book, I have found myself relating to some of the different areas that I have been through over more than 40 years of ministry as a Pastor's Wife. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a Pastor's Wife, past, present or just starting out. Being a Pastor's Wife is not just supporting your husband but is a ministry to the Lord in its own right. We are particular vessels for the Lord, but are often loaded with all sorts of unwanted cargo, leaving us wondering how to stay afloat. However, on the other hand, there are also the many blessings that override the negatives. What Alison has drawn from the lives, challenges and victories of the many Pastors' Wives over the years, gives insight and encouragement to those who are facing similar situations.
