Author Information

Kathy Tucker has written several books for children. She grew up in the West, in Washington State, and she has one horse friend whose name is Fox. She now lives in Illinois. Lily Toy Hong lived most of her life in Salt Lake City, Utah. She grew up in a large Chinese-American family, the seventh of nine children. She says she always knew she wanted to write and illustrate children's books. Lily is married and lives in Utah. Grace Lin has illustrated over twenty books for children, many of which she has also written. They include the Ling & Ting series and the novel The Year of the Dog. She lives in Massachusetts.
