This book is based on a true story where truths were twisted into lies told which destroyed a family. Sandy Johnson was financially secure when she met Thomas Stevenson. He was good-looking and was working for his diploma in finance. Sandy dreamed of one day moving to the Cayman Islands and living off the fortune she had amassed by working three jobs since she was eleven years old. She was so intent on going to the islands that she forgot another critical step which cost her dearly. She then met up with George Becker and Tyler Collins who brought her lots of problems and pain as she fought to keep her children fed and clothed with a roof over their heads.

I am a seventy-six-year-old retiree. Who decided to give writing a try. This is my third book. My other two books are The Reluctant Outdoorsman and The Family Secret. This one is different since it is based on a true story that could happen to anyone anywhere in this country. It is based on one person telling a lie about Sandy to her family and friends and how that lie spread and was believed by people. To this day she is still suffering from the losses that she withstood. She needs justice for the losses, the damage to her health, to wipe the police charges off her record, and most of all losing her children when she was innocent and drug free.
