Author Information

Lisa Beere is an Ottawa writer creating in the areas of poetry, short stories, children's literature and romance. Her poetry has appeared in Ottawa Poetry Magazine and Meat for Tea: The Valley Review. Her first screenplay became the film Cindy's Gauntlet (2015). Her book Equal to The Challenge: An Anthology of Women's WWII Stories was published in 2001 under the name Banister. She loves family time, fine dining, theatre, white water rafting and singing. Kae is a Canadian illustrator with over 3 years of experience in the industry. She loves imagining and drawing as many stimulating characters and worlds as she can think of. Kae has a background in both traditional art and digital illustration, and loves combining the two mediums whenever possible. When she is not illustrating or designing she can be found lost in a comic book, videogame, or Star Trek episode. And of course, Kae loves all kinds of tea, coffee, and cats and must have at least one of those things beside her at all times.
