Daniel Mierlak, MD, PhD, is clinical assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College and medical director of the Freedom Institute. He is board certified in general and addiction psychiatry, and sees patients in Manhattan and Montclair, New Jersey, where he lives with his family. Patrick Lawlor is an accomplished audiobook narrator, stage actor, director, and combat choreographer. The recipient of an AudioFile Earphones Award, he was also a finalist for an Audie Award.
