Language: English & Vietnamese Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationPhan Van Giuong is a professor emeritus in Vietnamese Studies at Victoria University, Melbourne, where he taught English and Vietnamese since 1965, as well as being the coordinator for the Vietnamese Language and Culture Studies program at the university's Faculty of Arts for the past 18 years. Prof Phan is the author of many Vietnamese teaching/learning materials, as well as the editor for several Vietnamese magazines and newspapers. He was awarded many medals, including the Order of Australia Medal and the International Educator of the Year award for his outstanding contributions to teaching language and culture. He was also active as a setter and marker for exam papers, such as the International Baccalaureate (IB) for many years. Prof Phan is now retired but continues to teach on a part-time basis.
