As a practitioner, he has worked in highly complex organizations and settling and in peacekeeping operations in Africa and Europe and in United Nations headquarters. He has been involved in the establishment, management and transition of peacekeeping operations and special political missions. He has over two decades of experience working and living in violent conflict-afflicted countries. As a scholar, he has presented at international forums, taught in university postgraduate programmes and authored a range of publications.
