She is Professor of Nursing, Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, NY, USA and previous chair of the division, as well as being part-time online faculty at University of Phoenix's School of Advanced Studies. Certified in transcultural nursing and adult health, Dr. Sagar presents cultural competency workshops and consults on cultural diversity and promotion of cultural competence.
