"Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, Fred displayed a passion for making life ""better"" for others at the age of 12. From volunteering to help the YMCA Director hand out game supplies to joining an inner-city gardening club as an alternative to gang violence, Fred has always had a passion for helping those who struggled in life. After college, Fred began working with teen youth offenders, truancy, and drop-out prevention programs, in K-12 public and faith-based settings. It was during this time that Fred met Gary James.
