OverviewIn need of money to pay her basketball fees, fourteen-year old Malia King registers for a refereeing course at her middle school. She is currently a PhD candidate at Simon Fraser University, where she researched the history of the rules of women's basketball in Canada for her dissertation on sport and performance.
