Overview

TOMORROW'S WEIGH The No Diet Way to Lose weight This is not a book about dieting. It's about starvation. Starvation is a strange phenomenon to be playing a role in the 21st century in the wealthiest nation on the planet, but there is no other word for the culture to weight-consciousness and weight loss that pervades every corner of our daily life. From skeletal models defining our concepts of beauty in the sensory overload ot magazines, movies and media, to the fat-free, zero-calorie choices on the supermarket shelves, to the rise in eating disorders among pre-pubescent girls and the increase of Type 2 Diabetes in the over-the-40 population, starvation is the silent cuiprit. Thus begins a powerful journey by three experienced practitioners and researchers into the world of diets, this book offers relief frustration and hope. The book begins with a startling pronouncement of how dieting is not only not an effective means to healthy living, but rather it is dangerous to one's health. It then moves on to explain Tomorrow's Weigh; a healthy, effective, research based method to lose weight.
