OverviewThe present edition is a translation of two lectures given by Academician V. P. Filatov in 1953. Lecture one is a historical review, methods of tissue therapy, and clinical observations. Lecture two is theoretical foundations of tissue therapy. Tissue therapy - the new method of treatment for various diseases which I suggested in 1933 - has found wide application both in the Soviet Union and abroad... Tissue therapy is based on therapeutic application of tissues stored in a state of 'survival, ' i.e., in conditions of a delayed and lowered vitality.
