OverviewThomas Richard Bunday was an American serial killer who, from 1979 to 1981, committed a series of murders of young women and girls in the city of Fairbanks, Alaska. At the time of the killings, Bunday was serving at the Eielson Air Force Base near Fairbanks, and for a long time avoided suspicion. Thomas Bunday was raised to hate women. Suffering from an abusive childhood, he was a ticking timebomb by the time he reached adulthood. It was when he was stationed at the Eielson Base in Alaska, working as a technician, and having acquired the rank of sergeant, that he began to crack emotionally.
