Reviews

These crisp essays on the Christian experience bring the skills of a literary critic to the Scriptures. They are decidedly unsentimental, unromantic, and insightful. They are also exceptionally well-written. I recommend the book highly. --David Depew, University of Iowa, emeritus In this collection of essays, Brugaletta writes as a devout Christian about Christianity and the Christian message. It doesn't strike me as a book of sermons, but rather a demonstration of his unique ability to explicate, as a man of faith, passages and biblical themes that are familiar to practicing Christians. --Charles A. Dominick, retired Vice President for University Advancement, Wittenberg University
