After studying Drama at Birmingham University, she worked for many years as an actor in touring theatre and on the radio. She travelled around the world with her work, but eventually settled in mid Wales, where she runs storytelling sessions and works in a primary school. She lives with her husband and they have two grown up children. There’s an Alien in my Lunchbox is her first book.Chris Jevons (Illustrator) Chris Jevons loved drawing from an early age, inspired by Saturday morning cartoons and Disney animated features. He went on to study art and design, followed by animation at university. After graduation, Chris worked as graphic designer and a 2D animator, before pursing his career in children’s publishing.
