Reviews

Bottom Line: Given the nominal difference in cost between print alone and adding an online subscription... I can't imagine why any library would not opt to give its users greater, enhanced access to valuable information via the web product. Highly recommended.. Review of The World of Learning Online- Library Journal, March 15, 2003 A valuable reference tool in both formats... Smaller public and academic institutions with tight budgets will definitely want to consider the online version, which gives more dollar-for-dollar value and increased access. Larger institutions will want to consider both formats, since it is a very reasonably priced package. The World of Learning Online is a welcome addition to electronic reference. Review of The World of Learning Online- Reference Reviews, June 2003 Impressive depth of international coverage... WOL is current, well indexed, and well edited--a valuable and unique reference classic. An online version complements the print edition and offers browse functions and frequent updated. Highly recommended. Graduate students; faculty. - Choice, May 2004
